Ahh, it feels good to be back in a truck. Natural, even. My last truck was a '98 Ranger Sport that my wife bought new when we were dating and when we traded it off to get her a Subaru for the snow it was instant remorse. Now I'm back and as giddy as a kid on Christmas eve!

There are 237k miles on the chassis (from commuting 2-2.5 hours each way, every day, for 5 years) but the engine was just replaced with an '05 4.0 that has just 80k on it.

On the drive from Ohio to SC yesterday I was surprised to find that I managed 18MPG on the first leg through the WV mountains and then 19.94MPG on the second leg, despite traveling at 70 the whole way and then fighting Charlotte traffic for an hour.
