About

My current car,

I would have to recommend Royal Purple Performance Oils. Having only put Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil whenever I change my oil and then switching to Royal Purple I noticed a slight difference in my engines behavior. I'm still on the first batch of Royal Purple after switching and I'll never go back. Having a manual Cobalt I've noticed slight differences in the amount of chugging my car does whenever I shift a tad early. It definitely freed up a couple of horses, not anything drastic but enough to notice and I've only changed the motor oil. I bought Royal Purple Manual Transmission Oil and I have yet the chance to have a nice day to drive a bit to warm up the oil and change that out due to friggen winter, but Royal Purple claims I think 10% HP gains or roughly 7-10 HP on average when you change out all the lubricants I guess I'm making a big deal about a couple of horses here and there but you CAN notice it and why not spend the extra 3 bucks and get the best of the best. That's just me.
