About
Bought new in Saudi Arabia - extensive desert off-roading in the Middle East.
Established beyond a doubt that this vehicle was not designed for off-road use.
Not competitive with Toyota FJ (old or new versions!) or Nissan Patrol/Pathfinders, all of which are in the same price range.
Over $10,000 in warranty repairs to date.
Specs
3.2 L straight 5 / automatic transmission
Top speed 140 kms/h downhill
Factory Options
Heavy duty belly pan, rocker protectors, uncomfortable seating, poor use of interior space, extremely limited storage space, dinky gas tank but they were off-road-savvy enough to throw in auto-dimming rearview mirror and malfunctioning tire pressure monitoring system.
Seriously, who hired those designers?
I should talk - I bought the thing...
