About

This was our beautiful 1965 Chrysler New Yorker 4-door Hardtop, 413 cu. in. V8 with automatic transmission. Sold via eBay.

This car is a true survivor. It is all original except for radial tires. Interior is in brand new condition with absolutely no signs of wear. Paint has some blemishes but looks good for its age. The undercarriage has some surface rust on frame and inside rear bumper; there is also slight rust on lip of the fender skirts. The rest of the car is rust free.

Here’s the story: This car was purchased by a man in Minnesota after sitting for over 20 years. He took the car to Nebraska where he then lived, redid the brakes, gas tank, tires, belts, and hoses. In 1995 when he transferred the title to Nebraska, it showed 7,500 miles. He drove the car here to Grand Junction, CO. He drove it sparingly for 5 or 6 years, then parked it for another 5 or so. When he registered it in Colorado they didn’t record the mileage because of its age. That was the end of the documentation. The car now shows approx. 9,400 miles. By the condition of the car I really believe it could be original but there are no records to prove or disprove it.

The interior is perfect. Exterior is perfect except for what I stated above. The 413 cu. in. engine runs great. This car drives smooth as glass but it could use carb work. Car does not have AC or PW but it does have power seats and power steering.

If you are looking for a nice original survivor, this car is definitely it. Feel free to e-mail or call me with any questions: Joe (970) 314-9091. Potential buyers are welcome to come look. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.
