About “Arctic”
This is my Arctic White Trans Am. It is actually one of the first of my collector cars I ever bought. I really liked the style of the early second generation TA's. The 72 is among the rarest of the early Trans Ams with a production number of just 1286. it is second only to the 1969 First Gen TA of which there were only 697 produced.
The 1972 455 motor featured one year only set of heads that retained much of the flow rates of the earlier models. Combined with a 4 bolt block, true four barrel carb and a warm camshaft this meant for a very spirited engine. The air was fed into the engine through a true cold air reverse facing hood scoop. Interestingly, this was the last year the scoop actually inducted cool air.
This car runs and drives as good as it looks and I get it out more often than I do any of my other cars. It is always ready to get up and go fast.
This is probably my all time favorite Pony Car.
About “The Challenger”
This was my first and only brand new Dodge. I special ordered this car from the dealership to get the exact color combination and engine specs I wanted. This car is an great car and I enjoy it occasionally. This car is among my favorite that I have ever owned. It currently has only 22,248 miles on it. No it is Not For Sale at any price and No it doesn't stay at my home anymore.
