About “Black GT”
I just bought this. It's a '97 GT convertible, with a 4.6 and automatic transmission. Triple black, with leather interior, factory 17" aluminum rims. The sides are scraped up a little, so I've bought a new door and ground effect for the passenger side. They're being painted now. The air filter unit was gone, so I replaced it with a K&N filter. Also, I have a set of those halo headlights ordered. Before I bought it, it had been vandalized, so I had to replace the taillights. I may still trade these factory ones for a set of clear euro-type lights, but I haven't made up my mind on that yet.
It obviously is going to be a work in progress, but I'm pretty happy with it. I've always wanted one, and this was a steal. I'll keep updating the pics as I get new things done.
About “red”
she's a bone stock lt1 with a six speed ran a best of 8.6 in the 1/8th mile with the original 120000 mile clutch.
