About “Boost Wagon”
We bought this car in 2003. It was in all original condition, including the original paint and the original generator.
Without knowing what we were getting into, my husband forged ahead with yanking the stock 289 and replacing it with the fuel injected 302. After many trials and tribulations, it now sees daily driver duty (about 50 miles round trip).
Most of the performance parts on this car came off our Mustang with the exception of the intake. As we made the Mustang more powerful, the extra performance parts were stacking up in the garage... what better use for them than this wagon?
Just recently the body and paint were done. There was a bit of work to be done to the body, but it all came out beautifully.
A 1968 Fairlane, my dad's first car. Due to being terminated from his job in the early 90's, and the engine of the car wearing out, he was forced to park the car for several years. After life had become more stable, me and him went to work on the car, restoring it to it's former glory. The car is now half mine and half his, so It's my first car too. It has taken seven years to get it to this point. A little bit of work was put into it, and gt rims from a torino were put on for their good looks.
