About “BARRS AM in all it's glory”
I had a 1993 Trans Am that a high school girl keep hounding me to buy, three times she stopped in parking lot's asking. Then one day my wife was with me and this girl comes running up to the us in the car and pleads with me to sell her the car. First I looked at my wife to see if I was going to get cuffed on the back of my head, then told the girl I sell it for $15,000 retail. I had kept the car, metalic red, in great shape and only had 30,000 miles in 5 years. I told my wife this will never happen, that night her dad shows up, and said I'll bring you a cashers check at noon next day, he did. I went looking for a Sport Gold T/A with all I could get the next day. In about four weeks I found one in Seattle with a 6 speed though a dealers internet last one available in the US. So I bought it and had it shipped here to Sidney, at the time only 3 sport gold WS6's where out there, the other 2 where automatics.
