About “Monza 1”

This was my first car at the age of 14 years old that I bought myself. It had no motor or transmission and I bought it from my best friend for $200.

About “23”

FOR YOU OFF-ROADERS AND WHEELERS - READ IT BEFORE YOU CRITICIZE:
I have a mildy lifted 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport as well, so please do not think I am some kind of ricer. I have taken much pride to be a part of the off-road community, as well as the street performance community. I am a member of JeepsUnlimited.com, JeepForum.com, and NAXJA.org, all 3 of which are heavily patrolled by off-roaders and wheelers like yourself and they all have accepted me and enjoyed my Street Jeep and what I have brought to the Forum. I have recieved way too many compliments from people for any of you to ruin my perspective or to regret my decesion for a Street Jeep.

I found it very easy to modify my XJ for speed. I have taken much advice from you off-roaders and wheelers to build a tasteful Street Jeep. I believe it is evident by all the quality brand products I use ranging from Gale Banks and K&N, to Cibie, to Flowmaster and Gibson. So for all of you hardcore off-roaders and wheelers, keep your smart-ass comments to yourself unless they are positive.

A JEEP IS A JEEP... NO MATTER IF IT'S STREET, ROCK CRAWLER, OFF-ROADER, OR GROCERY GETTER...

NOT ALL JEEPS WERE MEANT TO BE TAKEN OFF-ROAD!!!

SOMETIMES A CLEAN JEEP JUST DRIVES BETTER... BUT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE MUD ONCE IN AWHILE

MOTOR -- 307 SB Chevy with 11-1 forged pistons, 2.02/1.6 cast iron heads custom built, Hydraulic .447/.447 lift Duntov 30/30 hydraulic cam, Holley 600 CFM carb, Weiand X-cellerator intake, Melling HV oil pump, Hooker Super Comp headers, Thrush turbo mufflers, Accel Super Coil, Dual point distributor, Accel wires, roller rockers, aluminum short water pump, custom alterator bracket, Pete Jackson Gear Drive, and a chrome dress up kit with tall valve covers. All outer bolts were allen bolts with anodized cups. Braided hose covering on some of the hoses. For a air cleaner I used a Mr Gasket chrome scoop that had the red butterflies. I found factory motor mounts and a 4 core radiator.

The motor was eventually blown up so it ended up having two better built 355's in it before i twisted it all up and parted it out so the salvage yard could have the remains.
