Head to Head

About “The Convertible”

Our Families car.

My dad used to have a 66 GTO convertible glacier greenish blue, he sold it the day my mom and him got married for 850 bucks. the insurance company told him to!!

ever since he has kicked himself,

my uncle and him found this tempest convertible and had to go in on it partner style.

later for unforseen circumstances my dad "acquired" my uncles half of the car but we all still drive it.

i drove it to my future wifes prom and later to our wedding,

my dream honeymoon was to cruise route 66 and go to detroit for the woodward dream cruise.

maybe someday :)

But now i'm divorced and you can see a picture of my beautiful girlfriend standing in front of the car at one of our favorite Karaoke bars

About “Golden Girl”

I bought my car on eBay in May 07 from Marietta, Georgia. It had the factory 318, very basic except the dual exhaust put in by the previous owner. My husband and I had built a 1969 340 with X heads that we put in the car in December 07.
