I Traded A 1979 GMC pickup for this EL Camino . Pickup was in geat shape , was just tired of it . Son Name it PLUMCRAZY because of the color . Its a work in progresss , Its got a Builded 350 engine thats so much has been done to it , Im not going into it here .But it will run like a scalded Dog . Its almost Done , Tranny is an auto. which I dont like and may be changed .It will Blow my MONTE off the road . Only thing I have to do to finish her is Window seals needs to be replaced and I want to to put fresh paint on her . Interior is perfect except someone liked sterio better then me and tore up dash stealing it. I have to find a new Dash . also I would like to put a 79 front end back on her ,other owner replaced it with a 83 model . I would like to find a 79 Lungna front end .
About “MC SS”
I purchased this car in January 2006. The purchase originally made my Z06 into the garage queen instead of the daily driver. Since a number of the upgrades and the purchase of the 2008 Corvette, the Monte Carlo has become the play car. I am the 4th owner and it has been a South Florida car all of its life. I am currently in the process of restoring and modifying this SS.

Jasper Stage II 350 Motor - Estimated by shop at 380+hp (See specs and modifications for more info)
Rebuilt 200-4R - can handle over 650hp
ZEX 100 shot NOS with dual nitrous tanks and red LED purge kit
Strange 9" rear end

Dress-up of motor (Billet Specialties Valve Covers, Breathers, chrome water pump, chrome intake, chrome fuel pump, SS braided sleeved hoses and more)

Jasper Built Stage II 350 with close to 400 hp.
Professionally built 200-4R transmission that can hold up to 650 hp.
Latest additions include a 100 shot of NOS and a Strange 9" rear end.
I will start racing this SS in the local GM Challenge at Palm Beach International Raceway.
