About “Poncho”
Late last year, it was my Torino that got destroyed. A few months ago, it was my wife Sandi's '02 Malibu. We found this car at an auction of reposessed and off-lease, bank-owned cars. It was the nicest car there that would suit our needs, and we were very nicely surprised when we won the auction! Since we bought it, we haven't been anything but happy with it. Its a lot more fun than I expected- It accelerates and handles like a BMW 3-Series, but with better gas mileage and more interior room! (And I like the styling better, too!)

My dad used to have a 66 GTO convertible glacier greenish blue, he sold it the day my mom and him got married for 850 bucks. the insurance company told him to!!
ever since he has kicked himself,
my uncle and him found this tempest convertible and had to go in on it partner style.
later for unforseen circumstances my dad "acquired" my uncles half of the car but we all still drive it.
i drove it to my future wifes prom and later to our wedding,
my dream honeymoon was to cruise route 66 and go to detroit for the woodward dream cruise.
maybe someday :)
But now i'm divorced and you can see a picture of my beautiful girlfriend standing in front of the car at one of our favorite Karaoke bars

found some old ORIGINAL (early 70's) Bias ply good year polyglas tires in an old shed. GREAT SHAPE!!!
they're a little big so i had to put spring spacers in the front and rear with some air shocks in the back.
i love the look of the car a LOT better now.
way more compliments. changed the entire attitude!
i also found an original radio off EBAY and installed that.
great fun car.
