About “Pace Truck”
My truck was one of those great screamin deals you hear about but never believe actually happen. I saw it advertised in the local "Penny Pincher" at $4,500 o.b.o. by such-and-such a date. I really couldn't afford a whole lot, so I made a lowball offer of $2,000. It turned out that mine was the ONLY offer... Believe it or not, the guy was so desperate for money that he took it!
(Sorry it's so dirty in the pictures. I don't have a camera anymore since some lowlife stole mine!)
About “Pinky”
I picked this car up in southern CT for the little to no rust conditions on it in comparison to my 95. It was I ether spent a few grand on fixing all the rust associated problems with my 95 or buy this starting base for 1k and then build it to a toy and not have to worry so much about tweaking out my daily driver.
This car has now evolved into my Project and Toy car. I swapped my low mileage engine that was in my other Beretta into this one, but when it was on the engine stand the old POS camshaft fell out and much larger one walked into it's place. I've done every bit of work on this car with my own two hands, I built the motor, I built the trans, I did all the suspension work, I did all the Z26 conversion parts, and I've done all the new brake upgrade work... The only thing that I outsourced was to get it painted. My cousin does amazing work and the car was in need of the exterior beauty that matches the power under the hood.

13.515@102 the 1/4 mile, First and only time on the 100 shot so far... Ran out of time this year to visit the track and tune it in.
