About “Heavy Chevy”
The car was overhauled last winter. Had a 305 now has 406 with about 480 horse and 480 foot pounds of torque. Full POSI unit. rebuilt turbo 350. Now has a awesome sound system. Its definitely a beast out on the street. Sanded it down to the bare body and then built up from there. New interior and rims/rims as well.
Little old lady had it in her garage in California until about 2002. A guy up in Minneapolis had it shipped up here via truck hauler. Then in 2008 it was bought from him and came into my possession. And it a;; started from there.
1988 Monte Carlo SS I bought in August 2006, and have yet to do much with. I've just recently traded my dirt bike for a built 350, which will be next years project, along with switching from bench and column shifter to buckets and column shifter and some floor patching.
