About “Black Betty”
In 1973 the Type LT replaced the SS option and added many new options to the Camaro line, such as factory A/C for the first time and power windows for the first time in the second gen production line. I've owned this for a few years and done some myself, with friends and paid for the rest. I try to maintain a stock look, and do a few shows from time to time. In August I will run it down the track a time or two and get my 0-60, and 1/4 mile times.
If you can provide documentation on how many LT Z28 RS optioned Camaros were produced in 1973 I would like to hear from you.
About “dragonbird”
This is me and my husbands pride and joy. We bought this car in Clarksville, TN in May of 2003. It only had a little over 3,000 miles on it, but it had been wrecked, but not to bad. you couldn't tell by looking at it. Anyways it now has over 49,000 miles on it and me and my husband have enjoyed every minute of it. We have been taking it to shows since 2005, and the occasional run down the Bristol, TN dragstrip. (Thunder Valley). Right now my best run is a 14.03, but I know I can get in the 13's if I can just get out of the hole quicker. We have also been working on redoing the interior, I didn't like the tan, so I wanted it redone in red and black. and now dragon bird has a whole new look, since her wreck in ohio destroyed her body, she needed a new one. enter the black 2001 WS6 trans am. my husband already has the interior and the SLP cold air induction from the '99 in it, we're now just waiting for a break in the rain to finish switching everything over. so now she is technically my 99/01 trans am
