About “ProjectOlds69 'Brick-House'”
$400 cash...a 2 wheel tow dolly...and got it in my garage.
Got it running (see videos & blog) Then the education began...I had no idea that Olds was its own bird back then... far different then Chevy, Buick, Pontiac etc... oh well. Still working on her!

Specs for “ProjectOlds69 'Brick-House'”
60lbs of oil-pressure LOL...thats what I know. If you know old Oldsmobiles...you know (as I learned) that they used the same block size for all plants...by adding extra nickle into the cast-iron for strength. That being said...the only numbers I can find are on the top of the timing-chain next to the oil-filler. These indicate only small or big block...mine indicate small-block. The perforrmer intake says right on it Olds 350...but this will fit right on any old Olds small-block. It is not the original plant. I just removed the original Olds 300 2-speed transmission as it needs rebuilt...I installed a Olds 350 3-speed for now...but while under there I looked all over for numbers that people told me should be there...but i could find none. The Olds 2-speed appeared to have much stouter gears then typical power-glides so I intend to get the Olds 2-speed redone.

Mostly Unknown except...I just removed the Olds 300 2-speed transmission that only had 1st gear and reverse....Yesterday (12-22-09) I finnished installing a fresh Olds 350 3-speed...and it shifts nice and smooth...Yay!
