Head to Head

About “BuzzBomb”

I always wanted an early model speedster ever since I had my first ride in a TR6 when I was a kid. The car felt like a big go-kart and I never forgot that experience. So I finally had the money and the time to do this. I found a 1959 Bugeye and a RX-7 13B rotary motor on a local ebay type site and well here I am. Its been two year now and I almost ready to get this project fired up. It been a long road since the entire build has been done outside under a homemade carport in New England. I've worked in Rain, Heat, Snow and Cold to for fill this dream. This is a real backyard project and I've done all the work myself from structure to wiring. I've learn a lot and and have many people to thank. Hope you enjoy this build as much as I enjoyed doing it. It's about 70% complete and I'll work through the winter to finish her up for a spring 2010 debut. Stay Tuned!!! All done but the paint and it is a violent, but strangely fun to drive. I need to make some sort aero package as it gets pretty squirrely at highway speed. I'm sure it's nothing that more money won't take care of! CHECK OUT THE COOL VIDEOS TO SEE IT IN MOTION!!!!! Thanks Dave.
