I got this car because it was sporty looking, it was bright red, and it was CHEAP! When I bought this car, I was impressed by how rare it was... Then I found out WHY it was so rare! This car looked like it was in good shape, but that's only because it had an okay repaint over some real nasty rust repair. The interior was in good condition, but I could never get comfortable in that seat. It had no support any place it was needed. Then there's the little matter of performance - or what passed for performance. Some people swear by the Ford 2,3 Turbo, but I just swore AT mine! It leaked/burned oil at about a quart every 350 miles. At least there weren't many mosquitoes in the area after I drove past!
About “The Fox Rod”
I bought this car in October of 04', one owner and bone stock right down the the exhaust and air silencer. I drove it as is untill it was involved in an accident in which the at fault driver had no insurance. I debated rebuilding the car and I am glad I did because although not pecfect Its been one of my most favorite Mustangs.

It did 0-60 in an honest 11 seconds, and the quarter mile in roughly 18. I never had the courage to check out it's top speed, because it shook like a wet dog at anything over about 90.
