About “Blue Sting Ray”
This car was purchased in 1965 by my three brothers, when our parents went out of town for the weekend. I purchased the car from my brothers in 1969 and used it as my daily driver for many years.
It has been driven just about everywhere in the U.S. It has been up Pike's Peak; it has been to Bowling Green; it has been to Bloomington; and just about everywhere else.
The car currently has 296,000 miles on it. The engine has never been rebuilt! Once it reaches 300,000 miles, I plan on doing a frame-off restoration of the car.
The car was originally Daytona Blue, but I repainted it LeMans Blue in the 70s.
