About “Vega Wagon”
I picked this car up as a roller in '09. In my two car garage, it has taken me lots of hours, blood, sweat, & tears to get it in the shape it is today. The whole point of this project was to see if I could build a car that is dependable enough to drive anywhere, be consistant enough to win at the dragstrip, and at the same time look great, & be 100% NHRA/IHRA legal. I drive it to the track every weekend and it is currently doing very well with an 11-3 round record this year. It turns heads eveywhere I go and my son (6) loves it when I pick him up from school in it (the teachers, not so much....). It retains it's original, complete, interior and also has a great sound system. For power, it has an aluminum headed Vortec 350, TH400, Ford 9", and is a solid 12 second street car.
Update 8/30/11: This car just clenched First Place for Team Bunker Hill 2011 in the Sportsman Class NHRA Summit Racing Series. That qualifies it for the Division 3 ET Finals VP Race Fuels Race of Champions race to be held in Indy on 9/16/11.
About “American Muscle”
My dad looked for this car for probably 20 years. When he found this one, the guys wanted $9,000 for it. So he bought it, but little did he know, it had a 396 out of a 1968 Pickup and had three #1 rods in it. So during restoration he had to decide on an engine. He first picked a 502 Ram Jet, but it stuck out 1/4 inch above the hood, and we wanted to keep the SS hood. So we decided on a 454 big block. Now we have the car back, and put it in as many car shows as we possibly can.

Specs for “American Muscle”
It has a 454 that makes 425 horsepower and I think 400 pounds of torque. it's pretty much stock in the way it looks, so it's not a race car. But it is fast.
