Head to Head

About “my GMC”

my brother bought this truck for about$1000 the whole truck was good but the cab floor was rusted out so vw took out all the interior and welder up a floor using the metal from the hood of a buick lesabe that i choped up for scrap.

this truck had the origanal motor when we got it but it was leeking oil or some thing from the block so we put the motor from my chevy in it and my dumb brother drove it with out anti-freez (i think) and worped the motor.

this was my brothers truck but he gave it to me when he bought his 96 jetta desile but he got rear ended so now he drives a 2000 tiberon in the summer and me and him shar the truck in the winter

About “HellBilly”

I inherited this from My older brother Monte R.I.P. The first vehicle with a stick I drove. I learned how to drive a manual with my brother and this truck on dusty dirt roads of Nebraska. Monte did alot to it since we first went and looked at it. He bought it on the spot for 1500. It was pretty clean then but it has had some good hard usage since then. He built the flat bed for it him self. He also put 31's Micky's on it and a auto locking rear end, a 83 motor/tranny/gear driven transfer case in it as well not sure what else he did.

Mods for “HellBilly”

We Rebuilt the front drive shaft with heavy duty u joints. We put in a 1200 pound marlin crawler clutch with a L52 marlin crawler heavy duty tranny. Looking to put 4:88 gears in it with a mild cam, headers/new exhaust so i can run 33's Goodyear A/T and a marlin crawler craw box "double transfer case" There's other plans but those will come later when we get the first things on the list done. I also did a few minor cosmetic things like installing a semi functional hood scoop "hole in the Hood but not hooked up to air cleaner" and a few fog lights 4 i took of the brush guard my brother installed so i could put on a HD bumper the lights will go on that.
