About “Dominique”
This was my grandmother's car that I acquired in 2008. She didn't really take care of it but it was garage kept, so it stayed away from any hard deterioration. I take care of it to the best of my ability, keeping it shiny and intact. I hit a deer in 2010 and paid $2,000 to have most of the front replaced by a local company that knew my family. She also had a factory defect involving the camshaft that caused her to break down twice, but that has since been resolved (to my knowledge). And as of May 2013, I have a freshly rebuilt transmission!
About “elvire”
here's my 65 beetle. ive been working on it for about three years. did a body off chasis restoration. evrybolt has been restored or replaced. all the original parts that could be fixed were fixed, and also found replacement originals for the ones that werent there to begin with. still need to find the vent wings for doors. hope to make a 1776CC turbo street cruiser in the near future, gathering some goodies at the moment.
