About me and my passion for cars

I can't explain this one. I have been thrilled with cars since I was a little girl, back in the 60's. I can remember when our families would all get together in California, the men would go outside and look at each others cars. I can remember even then loving to look at the clean, shiny cars.
When I became a teenager, I would NOT go out with any guy unless he had invested time and energy into his vehicle. That doesn't mean that he had to have a new one. In fact, if he had a new one, it had better be spotless. I just liked guys that were focused on their cars. My favorite was the guys that had their cars "jacked up" in the back and had REAL mufflers on their cars that sounded mean,,,,, NOT these little "mufflers" that make cars sound like they are running as fast as they can.

My first car

My parents gave me 1972 Cutlass, not Supreme or 442, but I loved it. That was in 1978. I drove it until my "EX" husband traded it off.

1972 Oldsmobile Coupe, 1987 Oldsmobile 442

My dream car

The 1987 Olds 442 that I sold to a lady in Ohio a couple of years ago. Maybe someday she will email me back and that dream can come true.
