About deszs’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I started my passion for cars mainly with resto-rods. Building vehicles retaining the original look with an updated drivetrain is what I prefer. My favorite rod was a '31 A Ford Sedan Delivery with a Chev 283 engine and automatic trans, Jeep 4WD axles, all mounted on my own custom frame. The only time I showed it I won Best Of Show for Design and Originality at a World of Wheels show in Georgia. I've restored a '29 AA Ford Stakebed that I decided to sell because of it being so slow. I've restored a '66 Impala for my oldest son and a '69 RS Camaro for my youngest son. My most recent projects were a '70 Z28, a '71 RS Z28, and a '73 Baldwin Motion clone.
