Johnson’s ’06 Ram 2500

November 19th, 2009

0709_dw_readers_rigs_2_sBrad Johnson’s new Ram has a total of 5 inches of Rough Country lift and is double-shocked, using a combination of Fox Shox and Bilsteins up front, and a single set of Bilsteins in the rear.

With this setup he easily fits 35-inch Nitto Terra Grapplers on 18-inch Moto Metal wheels, using Bushwhacker extend-a-fender flares. Under the hood, he’s installed a Bully Dog Triple Dog Diesel Downloader and a Quadzilla Boost Fooler. The engine breathes through an aFe Stage 2 intake with Proguard 7 filter, an ATS Arc-Flow intake manifold and a Banks Monster Diesel Duals exhaust. A full set of ISSPro gauges (boost, pyro, trans temp) is on the A-pillar. Next steps include a larger turbo with larger injectors, and a transmission that can handle the load.
