Classic Chevy Trucks Gather in SoCal

Let’s face facts, some guys are very brand loyal when it comes to trucks. There are Chevy guys, Ford Guys, etc. who crave anything sporting a Bow Tie or Blue Oval. Brothers Truck Parts has made a name for itself catering to those calling Chevy sheet metal home, offering restoration parts and aftermarket components for classic GM pickups. To honor its customers and classic Chevy guys everywhere, the company decided to host an event that is now 13 years running. The year range at the event spanned the rounded fenders of the late ‘40s and ‘50s up to the end of the square body era in 1987, which is the range of parts carried by Brothers.

The guys from Brothers Truck Parts host their show and shine each year at Featherly RV Park in Anaheim, California. The July event is held in the shaded, grassy area of the park, which made for cool temperatures and hot trucks. The show is open to any and all 1947-87 classic Chevrolet and GMC trucks to come out and show their stuff amongst a sea of Bow Ties of all styles. Also on hand were several vendors, including Brothers, some BBQ and taco vendors, and local bands played throughout the day leading up to the award ceremony.

Check out Brotherstrucks.com (http://www NULL.Brotherstrucks NULL.com) for a plethora of restoration and custom parts tailor-made for your classic Chevy pickup. Also on the website is information for next year’s show and shine.
