Hello,
As an auto enthusiast, we'd like to take this opportunity to personally invite all of you to our 23rd annual Blast From the Past, Saturday, June 16 here in Onawa, Iowa. Over the years, our Blast from the Past Show and GRAFFITI NIGHT Cruise down the Widest Main Street in the USA has attracted as many as 600 customs, rods and street machines from Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Colorado, California, and Washington state. It's been recognized as Iowa's Largest Cruise Night with a Show 'n Shine on Main Street from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., Old-Fashioned Cruisin’ from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and a FREE late night Movie at Onawa's Historic Iowa Theater for all registered participants, featuring any of a number of great car movies from our past. There will also be bands and Karaoke going on at other Onawa establishments
We're located just 38 miles south of Sioux City, Iowa and 68 miles north of Omaha, Nebraska on I-29 (and just 7 miles from Nebraska on Hwy. 175).
The event has been recognized by Muscle Car Review magazine as one of the premiere Cruising Events in the nation, and featured in other magazines including Northern Rodder, The Hotline News, Northland Classics magazine, and even the Star newspaper our of the Twin Cities.
It also receive a lot of recognition and coverage from local (tri-state area) newspaper, television and radio.
For early entries, there will be a Loess Hills Tour & Fun Run (beautiful drive). The Show features huge 5' trophies, there will be real, Old-Fashioned Cruisin’, and activities for the entire family including games and activities for the kids, Pedal Power Tractor Pull, Mini Train Rides, Dunk Tank, an Engine Dyno, Live Bands, D.J., Hooter’s Girls, 'ELVIS' Show, FREE Late Show at the Historic Iowa Theater, vendors and food concessions and MORE.
