May 19, 2008 at 10:49 am: Yup'' I went....one word......"LAME"...,drove 2.5 hours,stayed 2 hours,was bored the first hour....main reason for going was the so called "swap meet", I seen,literally- "2" guys that had a few old junk pieces on a table, the rest was the brand new mid-way stuff that is way overpriced anyways...Manufacturers midway ?? now, I've been to ALOT of events, and this was no more of a manufacturers midway than a casual walk down a wal-mart aisle,and was 90% mustang stuff, Oh Yeah.... I allmost forgot the Huge car show...well lets see here, um... if you are into the whole Mustang thang,then you walked approx 600 yrds,to get to the thing in the first place, to big parking lot 1/4 full,and again,98% mustangs.......a FEW stragglers of other makes.I really wanted to see the Pro-Mods,but they were starting in 4 hours!! The few cars I did watch, looked like my local Drag track cars.I did get there early,because I figured it would be an ALL day event for my family anf friends and I ,im sure that the evening kicked it up a bit with the bikinis,car hoppers,bands etc. but what im saying is, there was nothing there to keep me or my friends interested in staying that long to enjoy those events. Im not ragging this site at all, just informing fellow members of my experience,and let me tell you all,it truly was a great dissapointment. Maybe in the future ,the "show" will improve,but I for one won't be there to find out
