About fordtrucker’s Garage

My first car

My first car was actually a truck. a bright pumpkin orange 68' GMC stepside long box with a four on the floor. my dad and i went out to get it from a farmers bin yard. when we got there all the tires were flat and it stunk of mice. we went out with an air compressor but it had a leak so i had to run back and forth stealing air from any tractor or truck i could to get the tires off the ground (the tires lasted me a long time) . after god knows how many hours of screwing around with the battery and starter and what not we still couldn't get it started we towed it back to town (45 minutes away highway speed) with ten feet of nylon rope, which isn't ten feet after you make a solid knot at both took us almost an hour and a half to get to town. and let me tell you mice don't smell all that great. after we get the truck back to the house and baking soda the battery posts and feed the carb we get the beast chuggin. have you ever heard a 68 straight six with no manifold or exhaust? its a wee bit noisy. I drove that truck to hell and back and it still kept tickin...

Car I wish I still had

My 89 FORD Lariat extended cab long box with exhaust stacks up the back of the cab with chrome semi style tips

Well the tires do that so the truck can lay frame. When he raises it back up they come back out. That is just how it tucks.
