Any other questions?
DAGGUMMM, i am afraid to ask any more questions, Motortopia might run out of memory space
J/K, i have learned olot about LT1's lately myself. Wanted a 4th gen so bad, now i wish i would have waited for the right LS powered car to come along. I like the ride i acquired, but it needs an opti, and when i figured out that parts alone for the new opti and all other normal tune up stuff was gunna cost $800+, i almost decided to junk the thing.
i am not happy bout that crap! Oh-well, lesson learned and life goes on... I do, soooo enjoy playing around in that thing. Mattp

Yeah, opti wasn't one of GMs best ideas... but as many as go bad.. there as that many that last years! Just hoping the used one I bought works.. atleast long enough for me to rebuild and do the coil pack conversion... but the LT1 can last forever and has a great low end torque.. build it right and you would smoke LSx cars... where to get an LSx car, you are spending LOTS more $$$ to start off with. Buddy bought his Z28 for 4grand.. Vs my 21 grand.. that would give him 17 THOUSAND dollars to stick into the drivetrain and suspension before he would get to my STARTING price.. so there is a trade off.... -
