   This means you'll only be getting audio from one channel though. I'd definitely hit up the audio forums - there may be a resistor you can connect to each speaker instead so you can retain stereo audio.

   
   
   This method will also fry your amplifier. While a lot of car audio amps can be bridged to run in this configuration a home stereo is never to be wired in this manner. It will fry the amplifier and it will most likely fry even faster than if you just tried running it in 4 ohm stereo mode. Do not try this. Either sell the 15's and buy 8 ohm 15's or buy two more 4 ohm 15's and wire two in series to the right channel of the amp and two in series to the left channel of the amp. I am a Rockford Fosgate factory trained car audio installation technician and I speak from experience. I have watched people ruin their good home stereos by hooking car speakers to them. Unless you wire them for an 8 ohm stereo load you will fry your built in amp!
