Did you check www.edmunds.com or Kelly's Blue Book? Don't know if they will give you credit for the mods but it might help.

what kind of eclipse, rs, gs, gst, gsx? i had the gs and wasnt happy with it. it looked nice and all but just had no poweer at all. my ex has the gsx and that was alot better. me personally i think its to much for that many miles, esp if its the gst,gsx unless the turbo has been replaced.

the price is too high......body kits and rims dont raise the value of the car...i just bought an rs laser model 2.0 engine for 1400$.....look on dsm tunners.com lots of cars on there for cheap.....its all mitsubishi eclipse, eagle talon, and plymouth lasers since they are all the same car...and make sure the timming belt is good or new..if it breaks.ha, youll be rebuilding the motor and head....

I wouldn't belive it to be a good deal do to the fact I bought a 1996 Eagle Talon in sep.for $1,000.00 w/ only 83,000 on it
& it had a chater in the bottom end, Come to find out it was the main & rod bear on the #4 rod, the 2.0 engines are known to have Crank walk & it tears up the bootom end really bad.
The Crank walk is due to inproper clutch useage & or the wrong combo of clutch-presure plate- through out bearing & fly wheel.
I know this because I now have a new motor 0 mile due to the fact that I've had to ship the old one of & have it completely overhauled, once we got into it we found that the previous owner did'nt take care of the engine at all- (Hint Oil is cheaper than a new engine) I have sponsors for all the glorry stuff like body kits. & ect. that's all cosmetic but 129,000 miles if it hasn't been rebuilt at some point reciently they couldn't give me the vehicle because you will have to spend another $1,500.00- $2,500.00 just to have a good engine no matter what model it is.
This desicion can only be made by you, Remember beauty is only skin deap so don't be fooled by it looks. weepy image weepy image weepy image weepy image
