   My fiance's car it's a 2001 Dodge stratus with a 3.0, single overhead cam. the sensor went on the transmission and we are wondering where it is located so when the part comes in there's less to have to search for when we get there, anyone familiar with this enough top run me through the were abouts of the sensor?

   Do you know what the sensor is called? Transmission sensor is a pretty vague description. Let me know . Thanks,

   I don't know too much about the sensor but this might help. Any transmission sensor's will have a wire connected to it. I think there are two sensor's on your transmission but think about this: a sensor sends a signal and to do this it has wiring. Just look for the wires and you will find the sensor connected between the wires and the transmission.

   The sensor on the transmission is very vague,need to know what sensor, whats its name, and even better yet, how do even know you need it?trouble in computer? whats the trouble code #
