I recently just finished painting my car myself, at home, in my driveway.
I used a foam brush and some Rustoleum from Home Depot... No, really.
Total cost of the project was $74.74 and it took about 10 days of my time.
The final result is amazing to say the least. Don't get me wrong, it is not perfect, but for $74.74 I would say it is a damn good job.
What do you think?

Here is a link to the write up on how I did it. There are plenty of pictures and in depth information on how to get it done yourself.
Styluss Customs - Poor Man's Paint Job
I know some of you may have seen the $50 Paint Job out there, this is different. Yes, it uses some of the same principles, but an entirely different technique to help eliminate the need for excessive sanding. Essentially the only thing my method shares with the $50 method s the method used to mix the paint. What you see here is NOT sanded and NOT polished in any way. I simply let the paint dry, washed it and waxed it.
I figured some of you might want to throw a coat or 2 on your rides. It really is an easy, inexpensive way to bring some new life back to your car!!Ryan Haenny
