Hey, everyone--
Sorry to say I will not be able to make the STARS event this year...too much upheaval at work right now with another job change (same company). I REALLY wanted to make it and am depressed I won't be able to hook back up with my Bandit Run II homies or finally get to meet some of the other members of Motortopia.
Looking forward, nothing short of a full-blown catastrophe will keep me from making it to Bandit Run III.
See you in Branson.

Not going to make it myself, BUT!!! The 17 day trans-formation is on its way.
Not 100% complete. 11:30 PM, i heard it fire up. The Bishops have put in alot of hours, and for the first do it yourself project, it came out good. Hate i am not going to make it this year, but to all who attend, please enjoy, and post pix. Mattp

for Reastoreamusclecar. For those of you that havent dealt with these folks, they are ceratinly top notch. I understand there are others who may be as nice and dependable, but from witnessing recent activities, dealing with Dave and his crew for those of us involved with Trans Ams is really a pleasure.

Well, I posted this message one time so if it comes up twice, complain to the webmaster. I can't find the post. Here goes again:
Bandit Runners present at the STARS show that I am aware of were six and here is how they fared:
Fourth Generation - 2nd place in class
Second Generation - ??? unsure
Second Generation Silver 75 - 1 st place in class
Second Generation Red 79 - 1st place in class
Second Gen Heavy Mod 79 - 1st place in class
Second Gen restored 71 (drove 76 on BR'0
- 1 st place in class and best of show!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!
We had a great time. Approximately 60 cars weathered the trip even with the bad economic times!
Congrats to all who made it!
This is a well organized show guys! You should support it next year!
And it is indoors!
We had a blast!!

I just posted the STARS photo album on my garage. A more complete photo album was posted by 97ramsst. (Sorry but my camera fouled up.)
Check 'em out. I am sure there will be more by the end of the week.
Enjoy.
