Bummer, I liked the idea of following the movie route! Not sure we can make it all the way to Florida and back (me AND the car!) from Missouri.

Any insight on what caused the change of route?

I agree the run should always end in Atlanta. The start can be different to give every TA guy a chance to participate.
This is the Bandit Run not the Power tour.

The route is going to end in Florida to give people the chance to spend some vacation time there.

You wouldnt want to dirve so far south if you have never been and want to leave so soon.

Time is slipping by and we need to make a trip to Florida.

There are some big plans in the works and a lot to do in Florida this is by far the earliest the Run has been released we will see what comes together and release info as soon as we can i predict our biggest turnout .

I know its a long drive we will pick up many new Bandit Runners

Im also from Missouri and did not plan on attending BUT after what is coming togther i think it will be worth it .

Flexibility is the key to a succesful run.

Well, if we are going far enough south, say to Orlando, maybe THE MOUSE can rename the Test Track at EPCOT to The Bandit Run for a day and repaint all the cars black with a shaker hood!! (or is that asking too much?)
Count me in regardless of where we start or end! Last year was my first run and it will not be my last. I am ready for a little DeJa Vu

Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

Ill put that on my agenda
I have formed a Bandit Run team and we are loooking at many options for this great run .
Restore a Muscle Car and Year one are VERY excited about the 2010 run !

Ok, I think we have a couple of options here.

Trailer the car to GA.

OR buy a newer Trans Am to make the run in! Don't know if my husband will go for that! haha

Seriously, I see that the run has moved every year. Seems only fair to move it around to let others have a chance to participate. Just hate it that I won't be able to go and enjoy all the fun!!!

Maybe it will come back my way in 2011!

Just one suggestion.. (other than try to get the info out to everyone asap...) Can there be a package deal for a COUPLE in a car like there was the first year? To have to pay full price like if 2 cars were going seemed a little overkill to me.. but its just a suggestion.

Looking to TRY to make this one... with the new job in San Diego.. this will be a HUGE trip... we'll see..

Before anyone crusifies me, i know the first was the best, but it seems as if most of you dont know that Smokey and the Bnadit II was filmed almost entirely in Jupiter, FL. I wont go any further then that due to the fact i dont know what Red has planned, but, Red, if i can help out with things, i lived in that area for several years and still have family and friends down there. Feel free to pm me or email me. I would be glad to help out if there is any way i can. I for 1 love the idea of going that way. Give me a chance to be on the run and see my folks too, woohoo.
