About can2tx’s Garage
About me and my passion for bikes
I got my 1st motorcycle for my 12th birthday, prior to that I had a "mini-bike" with a lawnmower type engine. My Dad taught me how to ride and he even bought himself one so we could ride together. Over the years I had many bikes and even got to ride one at work for a couple of years, which never got old even in inclement weather. I'll always have a love for riding, both dirt & street, because it is one of those few things that never gets dull.
My first bike
My 1st bike was a 1975 Suzuki TS75. I still remember sitting on it in the garage during the winter and acting like I was riding. I had it up until I was in my mid-30's when my Dad & mom got divorced and she sold it before I got a chance to get it.
Bike I still wish I had
I wish I still had my 1st bike because my sons both got to ride it and it'd be nice if my grandson would have got the same opportunity.
My dream bike
My dream bike is a Ducati 999R - closest thing I've seen to a race bike for the street.
