About me and my passion for cars

I was lucky to grow up in the Muscle car Era. A bunch of car guy's and myself use to sit in the parking lot at Raceland in Lincoln Nebraska on 21st and O street. I remember watching the Muscle cars drive by and my buddies and myself could name every one. This was in the 60's. My 73 Dodge Dart Sport was my first brand new car. And my 07 Shelby GT is my second new car. I started going to car shows in the mid ninety's. Started showing in 2000 when I bought my unrestored 1973 Mustang Mach1. In the summer of 2009 I needed a place in town to store my Classic car collection and found a building which use to be a Texaco station. I spent from June 2009 until August 2009 painting the outside to look like a 1950's Texaco gas station. I have most of my car collection stored there and over the years have collected some 30 years worth of car memoribilia which is in my office. Several of the towns people have taken interest in the station and added items they have for viewing. There have been several car clubs stop by for a tour. And I host a Cruise night on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month starting in April.The Station is a perfect place for my auto detail business. During nice days in the summer I set several of the cars outside while I am detailing customers vehicles. It's kind of a nice place to visit and step back in time when things seemed a little less fast paced. I can be reached at dansclassicmusclecars@rpt.coop
