My first car
1977 Oldsmobile Regency 98
Chocolate Brown with cream colored vinyl top with the peeling flaking option. Driver's door was held together with wood screws. Head liner was held up with wooden slats. Bald tires, carpet remnants for floor mats, rotted vacuum lines, leaking head gasket... the car could not be killed.
Car I wish I still had
'87 GrandAm V6. 120HP 3.0 V6 Monster LOL. Owned it for 11 years. Styling that held up well, fun to drive, handled well, didn't use much gas, easy to work on. I cut my detailing teeth on this car and after 11 years it didn't look 11 years old. Impending transmission failure and my desire to move to an FBody convertible ended our time together. You don't see that gen of GrandAm around anymore.
My dream car
More than one and WAY too many to list here. Only garage space and money hold me back from building a fleet. '70 Chevelle, '87 Grand National, C6 Convertible Z51, Of course, gotta have a '57 Belair. Lately, I've been looking hard at late model Camaro 2nd Gens ('78 to '81) and '67 - '68 Firebird convertibles. Also, any Corvette prior to '73. Late model Maseratti convertibles, Class Aston Martons and Jags, and I've seriously think that Ferrari 308s and 328's could be a great investment. But, my Camaro SS isn't going anywhere!
