- Thanks man! That's actually the old paint job, the new one is a 3 stage. Black base, violet toner, and clear. The paint job that you saw only ran me $1700, but I had a good friend do the work for me. The one that I have now is closer to $4000, but again, I had a (different) good friend do it for me after a lady hit my car in a parking lot and destroyed the entire driver side.
