About 39Stude’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I'm a little skewed sideways. I love cool cars (hotrods, classics, rats, etc) . I like the heads and tails the best.
However - I don't go for the combustion - I want electric.
So I created my own nonprofit - PlugNPlay.
Come visit. I could use help with the heavy lifting.

The ‘PlugNPlay’ project is the super hybrid educational experience of a lifetime. This program will produce a vehicle that uses no gasoline for power – only electricity. PlugNPlay is designed to combine renewable energy resources into a portable unit that can extend the range of any vehicle – operating solely on battery power.
Students will start a business from the ground up. No supplies, no cash, no leadership. In a matter of hours - they will have management teams mapped out, focus groups and research assignments.
Students will plan their revenue generating processes, marketing, operations and how to engage even more students. Some ideas may include presenting at schools, published in school newspapers, contests (like air ride, sound systems and car graphics). Other ideas may be in getting published to national magazines and presenting in the local and national media spotlight.
This yearlong process involves a business casual atmosphere - in which all students will learn to work with mentors and professionals and offsite resources. Trips around the state (and the nation) may also be possible. The theme to the project is renewable energy and it is causing excitement everywhere we present. How many high school students can boast that they built a passenger car that runs on electricity, solar and wind (and it's good looking too...)?
Students will investigate 4 main sources of power. These ‘Power Plants’ (think green) will serve as the only source of power for the vehicle. With the main source of power being electricity from the home - we will also use wind, solar, and motion to generate the remaining. Power plants such as these already work on their own – our plan is to put them all together.

- Hey everyone- we are building a new 'thang'.
Me - along with 700+ Scouts will research, design and build an all electric 1938 Ford rat rod in October. This rod will use plug-in power, wind and solar for fuel.
