About 710576d9’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
I believe in recycling the vehicles of the past not crushing them,
or destroying them in destruction derbys and certainly not letting
them rot in some field for thirty or forty years or even longer at the hand of mother nature or a Junk Yard Jake.
The thing that bothers me the most is some Junk Yard Jakes
would rather let the vehicles sit and rot for ever than to give them away to someone who would breathe life back into them.
Ponder this, if a Junk Yard Jake is a business man, and his whole idea is to make money off these cars or trucks he has in his junk yard then why would he rather let these vehicles rot forever then to sell them and make some money. We'll he might just be stubborn or greedy or maybe both. What's that old saying.
Isn't something better than Nothing. We'll for some I guess not.
My first car
1956 Chevrolet 150 2 door sedan
235ci 6 cylinder with a 3 on the tree
I converted it to floor shift with a Hurst linkage.
I purchased it at the age of 15 for $90.00
Car I wish I still had
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop with a 283ci 4bbl carb, turboglide, power windows, power brakes, power seats, push button radio with twin antennas
painted crocus yellow.
I purchased this car from S & W Auto Wrecking in Sun Valley fo $100.00 that included a 12 mile tow,
My dream car
A Red 1957 Chevrolet Nomad with Fuel Injection and 3 on the tree with Red & Black Interior.
