About me and my passion for cars

I was brainwashed from birth to be a car lover. My father built and raced both dirt and asphalt circle track cars from the Mid-Fifties until the Early- Seventies around Wisconsin. Later my father got me interested in Drag Racing. As a teenager I about lived at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, WI. I bought my current Hot Rod, my 1968 Chevelle 300 for 400 bucks when I was stationed in California when I was active duty Air Force in 1982. I was amazed at how nice the junkers where out there compared to the rusty stuff we played with back home. My hobby still hasn't changed much. Not much of a participant in Drag Racing anymore, mainly I spend my time at the local car-shows and cruises.
