About me and my passion for cars

I wasn't always a car junkie, but I started modding my first car ('91 Chevrolet Beretta) and learning about the ins/outs of a car and the different parts that make it work. I eventually bought a '91 Beretta GT (later sold it) and an '88 Beretta GTU (still have it). If I didn't have a bunch of things break along the way I don't think I would have learned as much as I do about the cars I drive.

My first car

...was a '91 Chevrolet Beretta I still own to this day. I tail-ended a Silverado in high school with it and the insurance company decided to fix it. I've put so much time/energy into it now to get rid of it.

Car I wish I still had

I had a '91 Beretta GT I bought for $200. It was a pile when I got it, but that was the point. The car was a hell of a beater/winter car and I drove the piss out of it. I put a CAI on it and ran SeaFoam through it and it ran like a bat out of hell...minus the slipping transmission once the car had been driving around for more than an hour. It's nice to have a car you really don't care about how it looks or if something happens to it.

My dream car

I've always wanted a Toyota Supra (preferrably an MKIV, but I like the body style of the MKIII's too). I also wouldn't mind owning a 3rd gen RX-7, a newer 350Z, or a C6 Z06 Corvette.

Car clubs are overrated...I just do my own thing and let everyone else see what I can do.
