About me and my passion for cars

I'm a 3rd generation "Grease Monkey" notice I used this term instead of "Auto Technician". I don't diagnose codes and replace parts on an automobile, I work on cars. American, rear wheel drive, full frame, V8 powered cars. My passion for cars runs deep, it's what I was brought up on, it's what I love. I bleed anti-freeze and to me nothing sounds better than a V8 singing the tune my right foot tells it to.

My first car

My first car was a 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Black with a Maroon interior with factory wheels that I replace with an old set of Ansen mags. It was the base model Monte with a V6.

Car I wish I still had

Back in High School I owned a solid black '85 Chevrolet El Camino, all stripped down "Plain Jane" style, no moldings etc. Came with the 305 H.O. engine, wicked looking mag wheels. It was just so cool cuz most people at my school had never laid eyes on an "ELK" before. I even took it to prom and got more looks than people driving new (at that time 2001) cars.

My dream car

I have 2:
No. 1: 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with the LS6 454 engine. Red with black racing stripes, 4 speed, tinted windows and the loudest set of pipes you can find.
No. 2: 1973 Super Duty 455 Trans Am.
