About me and my passion for cars

I've been around cars my whole life. Growing up we always had several Packards and ocasional old Chevy. For Christmas and my birthday, all I wanted were car models or toy racetracks...

My Grandfather was into Pontiacs...He had a bunch of different light blue Catalina two door hardtops.

Every year, we'd go to Heshey. Now I go to Carlisle.

I turned 16 in 1978, so the cars from the '60s & early '70s were the cars that I & all my friends owned...it was those cars that I learned to work on & still focus on today.

Although I've owned a lot of Chevys, I like all kinds of cars & have owned a bunch of different makes; Chevys, Fords, Mopars, Toyotas, etc. I've posted pictures of most of what I've owned...there been several others that I don't have pictures of (a Nissan Sentra, a 72 Toyota Corona, Plymouth Voyeger and a Dodge Caravan).

I've owned two '67 Impalas, but I've got a bunch of stories of other '67 Impalas that got away.

I'm sort on a quest to own one of every car I've ever liked...so I'm always selling what I've got & starting over.

A friend of mine once told me & I have to agree with him; when it comes to cars, you're never done - you simply decide to stop.

Before I got married, I told my wife & she agreed that we could have kids after I owned a Corvette. Well I had turned 30 and wasn't close to buying a Corvette - so we've got three kids & the big cars just sort of fit. Fast-forward to today & I have recently fulfilled the goal of owning a Corvette.
