About me and my passion for cars
After being a helicopter mechanic in the Marines for 4 years (Sikorsky CH-53) I went through several old muscle cars, to include a 70 Chevelle SS, and a 69 Firebird. I fell in love with the 2nd generation f-body cars after my first 71 Firebird Espirit. It was a sporty car with good looks and had enough leg room for this 6'-2" frame of mine. And performance and handling wasn't bad either. That was 1974 and the love for those cars has only grown. After several f-body cars, I currently own 4 Trans Am's of which my favorite is the 73 that I am restoring at the moment. It has been painted and I have just begun assembling it. Can't wait!
My first car
My first car was a powder blue 65 Falcon 4 door <snicker> O.K. I'm an ol geezer........just turned 53, but refuse to grow up!
Car I wish I still had
69 Firebird, 400c.i. with TH400 trans. and deluxe interior. Green on green. That car was a monster.

None........car clubs seem to like to sit and look at their cars. I just like driving them and I can look at it while I fill up with gas. :)

95 Trans Am Automatic Gear Shifter Button Stuck

This has been going on forever and hopefully one of you can help! My gear shift button will not depress when it is cold outside (say 50 degrees or less) to allow me to shift out of Park. Does anybody else have this problem or know of a fix for this? It's...

I found this little guy in my garage today, 11/9/08. I put him in a bucket to take to a friend from work who likes snakes. Me, I prefer snakes to be a lot flatter than this....
