I admire anything American made that can get out of its own way, but I've always had a soft spot for Mopars.

I've owned my 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback since April 9, 1991; bought it for $250 and it's now insured for $70K. It's come a lonnnnnnnnng way! Aside from farming out the paint and body work, I've done it all myself along with invaluable help and great advice over the years.

My fiance Billy and I are Hurricane Katrina survivors who relocated to northwest Tennessee in September, 2006 from the New Orleans area (there's pictures of the load-out in the Slimer folder). And no, I'm not the bookkeeper either ... I grew up working on cars and building engines, love to get down and dirty and fix things right the first time. (My older brother never liked to help and wasn't exactly mechanically inclined, so it was always me out in the garage helping dad work on his stock cars for as long as I can remember.)

Current projects: 1976 Pontiac Astre with fresh 355 sbc, TH350, 8 3/4 Mopar rear and too many upgrades to mention (FOR SALE/TRADE -- all considered), 1953 Chevy 5 window pickup with a 350/350, Lincoln 9" rear, 4 wheel disc brakes, etc., Billy's 1967 Camaro SS 650+ hp race car (now being returned to street life), and finishing up the interior on my Cuda.
