When in high school I bought my first Trans Am, a 1977 4-speed car. I have fond memories of taking my high school sweetheart out for our first date in that car... the car is long gone but she stuck around and we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary!
Now we have a 1978 4-speed Trans Am that we're in the final stages of restoring.
My first car
1973 SS Nova 327/4-speed car that my dad bought for me when I was 14... it was the biggest pile ever! I did learn a lot about cars working on it and waiting to get old enough to actually drive the thing. When I finally did get my license my Mom figured that I'd kill myself in that car so she sold it and my dad picked up a 1963 MG midget instead... talk about culture shock! I had faster 0-60 times on foot!
