My first car
1976 AMC Hornet! I loved that car! It was solid blue. When I say solid, I mean "SOLID"! Blue paint, blue seats, blue floor, blue dash! lol Top to bottom, inside and outside. ALL BLUE! I didn't care. It had a V6 but I drove it like a NASCAR. hahahaha I was in the process of saving to fix it up, just bought new rims for it, and was driving it down a really straight road one night when the brakes went out! At 16yrs old, all I new was to pump the brakes. Well, on one of the pumps the brakes caught briefly and the car died! lol I struggled to get her in the 1st lot and hit a curb, ripping the oil pan off and damaging the trans. housing while shoving the trans backwards. I just had that trans. rebuilt......... :( Needless to say, I really didn't know what I had at 16, but I wish I still had that ole car.
